I love to cook. It's a time for me to be creative and express my personality. I began my love of cooking when I was dating my husband. He loves to eat and try anything, a perfect mix for me!
We have 2 children who keep us young and full of life. We all eat at our dining room table together each evening, a time we all enjoy.
For years I subscribed to Bon Appetit and Cooks Illustrated, but this year I decided to quit the subs and get all my recipes on line. I came across Recipezaar one day and I have been hooked! We cancelled our cable television, so I no longer watch the cooking shows. I decided one day that I would much rather be creative and be the cook than watch someone else do the cooking. I've never regretted it.

Favorite Foods:

Some of my favorite foods are Italian cuisine, chocolate, figs, plums, peaches in the summertime, fresh apple pie with vanilla ice cream......pretty much anything when I share it with family and friends.
