about me

I'm an English professor, anticipating retirement in 2012. I'm currently a little more than halfway through a seminary program in the Presbyterian Church USA. I hope to retire from the university and have a second career as a youth and women's pastor/spiritual development pastor somewhere in the SE of the US for a few years.

I love cooking with good, fresh ingredients and excellent cookware. My little kitchen is kind of dumpy, but the foods I make in it are pretty highly complimented and desired. My favorites cooking methods are braising, grilling over hardwood, roasting and using a crock-pot. I'm not much of a baker, however!
