about me

I'm a sophomore at the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign, studying molecular biology. Living in the dorms, there unfortunately isn't much chance to snatch the little communal kitchen hiding away in the basement. But, that hasn't stopped me from saying that cooking is one of my favorite things to do in my freetime. Other hobbies include jogging, reading, drawing or painting, fishing, soccer, swimming, enjoying the outdoors, learning about cultures and religion, and dissecting stuff.

Favorite Foods:

I am half Sephardic (Jewish), and love foods that hail from around the Mediterranean, Middle East, and South America! This means:

Beef (see Argentina), lamb
Beans and legumes, especially chickpeas
Basmati Rice
Spicy!
Salads
food with real (Spanish) olive oil
Dulce de Leche and chocolate

I shouldn't be making a list, I will eat just about anything!
