about me

Because someone reported my photo as theirs, I have been forced to add my name to the photo's of the pictures I take of my recipes. Please do not take this as a sign of vanity. It is very embarrassing to me. Maybe one day Zaar will answer my question concerning what steps I need to take to prove a photos belong to me so that I can do just that. Obviously, there is an alternate universe out there with a dead on duplicate of my kitchen, towels and other items I have in my kitchen and photos. Silly Dopplegangers!


By day, the consummate professional.

By night, the proud wife of, and chef to, a very special man.
With dinner in her hand and a corny joke rattling around in her head, which will inevitably trickle off her tongue to the dismay of her very tolerant husband.


Thank God for dirty dishes
They do have a tale to tell
While others may go hungry
We're eating very well

Favorite Foods:

I eat to live. I do not live to eat. I do, however, love to cook and some of my favorite things are roasted fresh vegetables, lean proteins and fresh fruit. But, I also like good down home comfort foods as well. Who does not love a great piece of crispy fried chicken or grandma's homemade buttermilk biscuits once in a while?

My motto is, "Everything in moderation. If your butt starts to spread, it's time to lay off and get some exercise." What is the payoff in that thinking? Getting to eat a great piece of crispy fried chicken or grandma's homemade buttermilk biscuits once in a while.
