I was born in Houston, Texas, and went to college at Pittburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. I got a master's in finance there, and at age 22 I moved to a small town by Peoria, IL called Kickapoo. It's about 400 people living in the town. Then I got a better job in when I was 46 in Bettendorf, IA, but I like the idea of living in a small town, so now I live in Geneseo. It's much bigger than Kickapoo, but it still has the rural feeling. I have two kids in college now, Mary and Daymon, so to keep me company, I have 4 dogs, a pomeranian, an English setter, a whippet, and a sheltie.
Probably, my favorite restaurant would be this Thai place in Moline called Exotic Thai. They have the best fried rice, fresh rolls, and curry. I love making cakes, but I'm probably famous for my rolls. At Thanksgiving and other holidays, I have to make them, or else my family would kill me. They're irrisistable! I love making Toll House cookies, too. All the goowee chocolate and everything! Delicious!
