Firstly, A BIG
to ALL for trying out my recipes, I really do appreciate it.
And a SUPER BIG
for going through the effort of taking pics. It is fun but can get frustrating at times!

It might be the only sunshine he sees all day."

THANK YOU for stopping by!
I was born in India, brought up in the Middle East (Dubai). Met my DH in Dubai in 2001, he's English from West Yorkshire and he's a maths teacher.
We got married in 2004.
DD was born on 4th of May, 2005.
Moved to Norway in the summer of 2006.
DS was born on 26th of Oct, 2007.
Moved to Switzerland in the summer of 2008.
I hope this will be our last move!

My two little monkeys!

I really was not into cooking till I became a stay-at-home-mum. I got into baking after we'd moved to Norway since I had more time to experiment and had the students from the college more than willing to be my guinea pigs! But have to say, I have 2 left hands when it comes to decorating or icing a cake!
We do not eat pork due to religious reasons and I do not use alcohol in cooking. I search for recipes that carry ingredients I can get hold of locally (or I have stocked in my cupboard!). Recipes I have posted are ALL tried and tested and have been enjoyed by all! So, I hope you and your family will enjoy as well!
My rating system is fairly simple. Since I only pick recipes that I know my family will enjoy (looking at the list of ingredients), it's either 5 or 4 stars, I do not go any lower. I may sometimes do a bit of tweaking but that is only due to my family's tastes. If I do have problems with a recipe or if it didn't turn out the way it should have done, then I just leave a comment without any rating.

For a hobby, I am into photography and so is DH but he's been taking pics much longer than I have and he's more into landscapes and portraits. I also do a bit of reading and knitting (beginners' stage). Can you tell Calvin and Hobbes is my favourite?!?!

We lived in a tiny little 'BEAUTIFUL' village by the fjord in Norway. I miss the views and the birds that visited us every winter.
Here are some of my favourite pics taken in Norway.
