about me

I live in South Texas. Today we have 7 dogs, 2 parakeets, 1 cow, 1 horse,7 chickens & a cat. Numbers seem to increase daily. I Love: to cook & bake, read good cookbooks and animals !
I collect thimbles and cook books.

The picture I changed to is me and my girls with my Papa. He was married to Nanny. I need to get more of Nanny's recipes posted. My goal for 2008 is to complete that project. I still get sad when I pull out her receipes so it has been a hard task. I want to get them all in and then make cookbooks for each of the girls and all my cousins. That was my motivation for joining zaar.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite "everyday" foods are chocolate and Mexican food. I love to try new receipes. My friends refer to me as "Betty Crocker", LOL !! I love to read cook books and then make the recipes fit our tastes.
I hate beets and liver !! I love lobster and creme brulee !!
