I live in the San Francisco area and love it here. I discovered Recipezaar in 2001 and have been so happy to have my favorite recipes stored safely here. I am mother to 7 and grandmother to 3.

I love to knit, smock, sew, etc., but my favorite hobby of the moment is traditional rug hooking. This is the rug I am working on at the moment — "November". I just have a few more leaves to finish and then bind it and it is done! This rug has taken me a couple of years so far. I dyed most of the wool myself. It is made from wool flannel, cut into strips a little less than 1/4" and then worked into a linen backing. This is my 3rd rug.



I have two grandsons (Justin's) and one granddaughter (Amber's)...

Favorite Foods:

My favorite food is most definitely Thai food. I love the combination of flavors and the heat! I've had the pleasure of eating a lot of wonderful Thai food in Thailand and I am working on mastering a few of my favorite dishes.

I also have a fondness for sweets and especially love to bake. There is nothing quite like the smell of bread fresh from the oven!
