about me

I live in a small town in Ontario, Canada with my wonderful husband who is my best friend.

Our son and daughter in law live in the big city close by, so we get to visit frequently.

We share our home with three furbabies, our cats; Isis the warrior princess and her big brother Brute, the scardy cat.

My mother's cat, Miss Charlotte has recently moved in with us. She is pictured on my icon. She is a very regal and loving girl, the queen of the furbabies and boy she knows it.

You better believe that life is good for the little monsters and that they rule the house and us. The motto at our house is "Wish I Was A Cat".

My passions include family, friends, pets, baking, reading, biking, gardening, photography, rock collecting and bird watching.

Baby Kato was Brute & Isis's mom, she was a ferral cat who gave birth to four adorable kitty's in our backyard. (Isis, Brutus, Angel and Seth).

Here she is with Brutus and Seth when they were three weeks old, setting out for adventure in the yard.

Favorite Foods:

Selecting favourite foods is difficult for me. I love spices, herbs, textures and intense flavours. If I had to choose one food that I couldn't live without, it would be BREAD. I must say that I do love my comfort foods though, potatoes, rice and homemade baked goods.

I try to prepare fresh, flavourful food that appeals to all our senses. I enjoy contrasting tastes and textures in food.

My personal favourite cuisines are Thai, Greek, Southern, Asian and Carribean.

My favourite meal is Thai and would consist of Buco water, Green Tea, Green Mangoe Salad, Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai and Red Curried Pork served with lots of steamed Jasmin Rice.
