about me

A native Washingtonian, I was raised in rural Eastern WA. Every fall I get really homesick for the hustle and bustle of apple harvest, fruit stands, fairs and caramel apples.
I met my husband on a blind date and decided to make my home in the Puget Sound area (Western WA) where we are raising our two teenage daughters. I work fulltime at a company that makes commercial airplanes. The combination of city and country life has resulted in a diverse menu at our house.
Both my daughters enjoy cooking and are usually on each side of me at the kitchen counter.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite foods are: Asian and BBQ. My favorite restaurant is Zao Noodle Bar at the U Village in Seattle and Miners in Yakima, WA
My most famous recipes? I'd have to say the most requested have been my sugar cookies and the oven baked BBQ chicken.
