Cheese Apple Crisp( With Splenda or Sugar Twin)

This is one of the best apple crisp desserts I have ever tried. I made it with splenda and it turned out really good.

SERVES 6 , 1 dish (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Arrange apples in shallow greased pan.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. 3
    Add water and lemon juice.
  4. 4
    Combine splenda, flour and salt; work in butter to form a crumble mixture.
  5. 5
    Stir in shredded cheese and sprinkle the mixture over the apples.
  6. 6
    Bake at 350F until apples are tender and crust is brown and crisp, 40 minutes.

    Yummmy apple crisp with the cheese!! DH loves apple pie with a slice of cheese, so this was a real hit with him. I used the splenda and followed the recipe exactly, no changes needed, thanks for sharing a good one we will be using again!

    SOOOOOO Good! I was out of lemon juice, but it was still great. Next time I will try with wheat flour. This one is a keeper! Thanks DotM.
