I was afraid that the full amount of honey might be a little too sweet for me so I only used half the amount called for. Also used just a pinch of ginger (but I think I could have used more). The caramelization of the sugar and honey was something I really enjoyed and the flavor of the steak was just excellent.

Very good flavor and simple to make.A little to sweet for my daughter, but the rest of the family really liked it.The next time I will not add the brown sugar and also eliminate the ginger.Just to see..........

Thanks for the recipe. I do venison in many different ways, and this was real good. Some of my family will only eat venison this way. Thanks Ron

I will give this a 5 star for flavor-it has almost won me over to marinating a steak but I still prefer a dry rub. I used more than a pinch of garlic and a little less honey (not much less), used brown sugar substitute. Very enjoyable steak, Tender and medium rare just the way I like them Thanks EdsGirlAngie
