Recipe #321179 | 35 min | 15 min prep | add private note

This is our favorite pizza topping--very simple, delicious and relatively healthy. I buy a ball of dough from a local grocer to save time and effort, but feel free to use any dough of your preference.

I had some fresh basil, and was looking for a margarita pizza recipe. The difference in yours was the addition of the onion and red pepper flakes. I prepared this exactly as written, except that I used a pre-baked pizza crust, and shredded cheese. It was great; and I really loved the kick that the onion and pepper flakes added! Thanks!

Very very yum! I like that I can have some pizza and not feel too guilty about it. Loved the freshness and the garlicky and basil flavours of this recipe. The chili added a bit of bite, which was good. I used grated mozzarella but will make this again soon using fresh. I used Yeast-Free Pizza Crust (Gluten-Free) for the base. Thanks so much for posting your recipe!
